Glassworks by Tamar Hirschfeld
Tamar Hirschfeld's glassworks were created during an artist residency at the international glass and visual arts research center in Marseilles, Cirva.
The works were exhibited (2023) in the solo exhibition Grillée at the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Marseilles.
These works are made using glass blowing and sculpting techniques in combination with manual hammering and engraving. They are beautiful, colorful, moving, and full of humor. Working with glass is another facet of Tamar Hirschfeld's body of work, in which she manages to maintain a clear language while also being surprising and up-to-date.
Some of the works are available for purchase in the store, and there are other, larger works that can be seen and purchased by contacting us directly at: info@georgearkin.com
