Barak Zemer (1979) is a photographer. A graduate of the Scuola Romana di Fotografia, holds a BA from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, and an MFA from the USC Roski School of Fine Arts. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.

Barak's work is characterized by a meticulous technique alongside a nonchalant choice of subject of photography. It seems that he knows how to distill and create from his living environment moments of aesthetic and precise connection that produce an atmosphere of hidden occurrence, strong and disturbing presence. Barak Zemer has participated in numerous exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including a solo exhibition at Fulcrum Press, Los Angeles. His work is featured in many collections in Israel and around the world.
